Faculty position in The Department of Chemistry at Tuskegee University (Assistant or Associate Professor)

Highlights:
  1. The Department of Chemistry at Tuskegee University invites applications for two faculty positions in Chemistry, e.g., analytical, biochemistry, inorganic, organic or physical, for Fall of 2010.
  2. Candidates with an earned doctorate in related fields, forensic sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, and intergrative sciences will also be considered. Tuskegee University offers an American Chemical Society approved Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and Master of Sciences in Chemistry in the areas of analytical, organic, physical, inorganic, biochemistry and polymer chemistry. Interdisciplinary PhD Degrees are offered in Intergrative Biosciences and in Materials and Engineering.
  3. All positions require the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses based on need and subject area specialty. Team teaching and interdisciplinary research are encouraged. We especially seek candidates with the potential to develop nationally recognized, externally funded research programs of outstanding quality.
  4. The department offers excellent opportunities for collaborative research with faculty in the College of Agricultural, Environmental and Natural Sciences; College of Engineering, Architecture and Physical Sciences and College of Veterinary Medicine, Nursing and Allied Health.
  5. We seek candidates who have strong commitments to the teaching and training of underrepresented groups and are desirous of participating in an academically diverse environment.
  6.
