- Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction
- Minimum Qualifications :Master’s degree in Curriculum; A Diploma in Education or equivalent
- Experience:
- At least three (3) years teaching adults in tertiary level programmes;
- Experience in developing and delivering Teacher Education progammes;
- Experience in supervising graduate research in curriculum and/or teacher education;· emonstrated knowledge of educational programmes in the Caribbean; Preparation and delivery of innovative teacher education curricula;
- Development and delivery of programmes for students with special needs and abilities.
- Special Responsibilities:
- Working with students/projects requiring expertise in developing innovative curricula and/or in developing curricula for students with special needs;
- The candidate should:
- Be able to interact well with other members of the Department, and with practitioners in the field;
- Possess good communication skills;
- Be responsive to students’ needs and interests;
- Be open to new ideas.
