Lecturer position in curriculum/teacher education

    1. Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction
    2. Minimum Qualifications :Master’s degree in Curriculum; A Diploma in Education or equivalent
  2. Experience:    
    1. At least three (3) years teaching adults in tertiary level programmes;
    2. Experience in developing and delivering Teacher Education progammes;
    3. Experience in supervising graduate research in curriculum and/or teacher education;· emonstrated knowledge of educational programmes in the Caribbean; Preparation and delivery of innovative teacher education curricula;
    4. Development and delivery of programmes for students with special needs and abilities. 
  3. Special Responsibilities:
    1. Working with students/projects requiring expertise in developing innovative curricula and/or in developing curricula for students with special needs;                       
  4. The candidate should:
    1. Be able to interact well with other members of the Department, and with practitioners in the field;
    2. Possess good communication skills;
    3. Be responsive to students’ needs and interests;
    4. Be open to new ideas.
